Mom's LasagneBake 375 degrees for 20 min.
Lasagne noodles2 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp parsley, chopped
1 1/2 cup tomato paste (2 cans) or 1 large
2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
few kernels hot pepper
2 TBSP each ground oregano and basil
grated romano cheese
grated mozzarella cheese (1 ball)
1/2 pint riccotta cheese
Brown meat in oil, add onion, garlic, parsley. Add tomato paste and water, salt, pepper, oregano, basil and hot pepper. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Cook lasagne noodles. Drain and rinse with cold water.Arrange in layers in 8x8 pan. Layer Noodles, meat sauce and cheeses. End with cheese layer on top. Bake 375 degrees for 20 min. Serves 4-6
