Rice Krispie Treats
4 cups miniature marshmallows (best results with fresh marshmallows)
6 cups Kellog's Rice Krispie treats
1/4 cup butter
cooking spray
Microwave butter and marshmallows on high for 2 min. Stir. Microwave on high 1 min. Stir until smooth. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Press into 9 x 13 pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Makes 24 squares.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Crispie Treats
INGREDIENTS:
* 6 cups Cocoa Krispies chocolate rice cereal
* 4 cups miniature marshmallows
* 1/2 cup peanut butter
* 1/4 cup butterPREPARATION:
Microwave butter and peanut butter and miniature marshmallows in a large mixing bowl on 5 for 2 min. Repeat until marshmallows have melted and puffed up. Stir. Add 6 cups of cereal mixture and stir immediately and thoroughly until evenly coated. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan and refrigerate. Cut into 24 pieces.
